come into contact with. I have since found multiple indie vegan brands who's owners are not sociopaths, but actually care about what they are making and who they are making it for. Anyway, not only do you present the facts on why not to buy from this 'company', your list of dupes is beyond amazing and has given me many options to replace the velvetine I bought once it's gone. Again, I really appreciate the time you've put into this blog!

Thank you so much; it means a lot to me that this blog is helping bring so many people together to share their experiences and recommend brands that deserve the recognition.

Hi! I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your little blog here. I knew about the repackaging drama when I made my first (and only) purchase but had no idea just how immoral this person was. I wanted to commend you on presenting facts and the way they were presented. Most posts on your timeline were from that little witch herself which was damnable enough for me. I'm a consumer that will drop a company if I feel mistreated. And here I feel she has mistreated just about everyone she has

Do you think Babette will sell well?
doedeerelies doedeerelies Said:

I think it will do well especially since Coquette is their most popular and one of the best performing colors formula-wise. It’s a color that will flatter a lot of people as well, but part of me really thinks that this color should have been named “Dilettante” when Xenia made such a fuss about the “cult of beige” and now she’s joining their ranks because neutral lipsticks keep businesses afloat. Imagine that!

Do you have any dupe ideas with Babette?
doedeerelies doedeerelies Said:

I do have some listed in the dupe spreadsheet, but since the only two images we have of it in action are a photoshopped swatch that is a modified version of the Cosmopop swatch and a picture run through Instagram they’re probably the not the most accurate.

This is what I wrote on Xenia’s twitter on the day she was gonna be on that show. Interesting comment that she gave back to me and then not too much later she deleted this convo off of instagram…

It’s so telling she only uses sassy comebacks until she’s confronted with facts and then everything gets deleted. What again are we supposedly jealous of?
